This mini-ceilidh meets plush wedding reception combination is a winner. This duo have performed together over the last decade and are now bringing their exciting sound to a new audience as a duo.
Roddy Neilson
A former Peatbog Faerie, Roddy has been playing violin and fiddle for over 35 years.
He enjoys variety in his music, and has played, recorded and toured with orchestras, jazz, bluegrass and rock bands.
He currently lives, composes and teaches in Portobello, Edinburgh.
Maureen Hunter
Maureen started playing the clarsach age ten and grew up in a musical family. Maureen plays a 36 string electric Camac Harp and a 34 string acoustic Camac harp depending on the occasion.
She was an original member of The cosmic ceilidh band, and brings a unique and atmospheric sound to the duo.
She composes and sings, recording in her spare time.
